As one of the co-founders of Language for Life, Natalia Cousté is responsible for developing new course programs for professionals, university students and other individuals who wish to learn Spanish and immerse themselves in Spanish and Latin American culture.
Natalia earned her PhD in Hispanic Literature and Culture from the University of Toronto and her MA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Western Ontario. She has been teaching in North America and Spain for the past 17 years. Born in Uruguay and having lived and studied in Canada for 20 years, Natalia's career has been focused on international education and the development of innovative cultural programs for students and scholars. Her experience includes teaching Spanish as a Second Language, Renaissance and Modern Literature, Hispanic and Latin American Culture, and Transatlantic Studies. Natalia's areas of interest include contemporary literature, migration, and equity. She has worked with students enrolled in international programs at the following universities:
